By the Circular No. 1/2012 NSDL instructed to all Tax Deductors regarding issuing of Form 16A through TIN-NSDL is mendatory, The Tax Deductor (TDS) only after downloaded the same from the TIN-NSDL website for tax deducted on or after 01.04.2012. In the financial year 2011-12, only companies and banking deductors were bond to issue form 16a generated by NSDL. Recently Central Board of Direct taxes (CBDT) has issued circular no 1/2012 dated 9th April, 2012 regarding new amendment for issuing Form 16A w.e.f. 01.04.2012.
